Unofficial player guide · checked in game 6 October 2026
Lagos Life Game Wiki
Lagos Life is a browser life sim set in Lagos, Nigeria. You make a character, pick where to live, get a job, and keep your needs and weekly bills under control. This wiki helps with the first hours.
Play opens lagoslife.app, the official game, in a new tab. Accounts are created there, not here.

What we saw in the game
Notes from a brand-new account on 6 October 2026. Things change while the game is in active development, so each guide says when it was checked.
- The birth lottery is decided once per account. Ours came up “LAPO Baby”: a ₦60,000 loan repaid at ₦12,000 a week, Hustle starting at 2, and skills learned 25% faster.
- You still choose a home after the lottery. We could pick a UNILAG student hall, a Mushin room or a Yaba self-contain. Lekki was locked.
- Jobs list pay per shift, not per hour. Every card read “1-hour shifts, any time”, yet the game also showed a fixed next-shift time, so we don’t publish hourly rates.
- Rent is due every Saturday. The Bank app showed weekly income tax at 0% on the first ₦1,000,000 of pay.
Quick answers
Is this the official Lagos Life website?
No. This is an unofficial fan guide. The game itself, and every account, lives at lagoslife.app. We never ask for your game password.
Is Lagos Life free to play?
We created an account and played our first session without paying. The official Terms say you can top up your wallet with real money to buy in-game naira, and that in-game naira has no real-world value and cannot be cashed out.
Do I need to download an app?
No download was needed in our check: the game runs in a web browser at lagoslife.app. The "apps" you see in the game are screens on your character's in-game phone. We did not find an official download link, so avoid APKs from other sites.
Is Lagos Life the same as Lagos Sims?
People search for "Lagos Sims" and "Lagos Life Sims" because it plays like a life simulator: you manage needs, a home, a job and money. It is its own game and is not connected to The Sims.
How old do you have to be?
The official Terms of Service (last updated 1 October 2026) say you must be 18 or older, and allow one account per person.
